Our work extends across Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, focusing on critical landscapes that connect ecosystems and communities, in particular Murchison-Semliki, Lendu Plateau, Bili-Uélé, and Ituri-Epulu-Aru within the broader Congo Basin.
These landscapes form part of the planet’s most biodiverse and threatened ecosystems, home to elephants, chimpanzees, pangolins, and rare bird and amphibian species found nowhere else on Earth.
We foster resilience for both environmental and human security. We assist marginalized Indigenous Peoples and traditional communities in the Albertine Rift and the Congo Basin regions to live sustainably and to safeguard their cultural practices, water sources, lands, and surrounding environment.
